Graduated from Sambalpur University in India in the year 1975 with Chemistry (Honours)1st class with distinction and completed Master's degree from the same University in the year 1977 with 1st class. Joined as research fellow (University Grant Commission) in 1978. Joined as Forensic scientist in the year 1980. Undertaken specialized training in Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Toxicology, Drugs testing and petroleum testing from national institutes in subsequent years. Completed work and was awarded Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the year 1988 in the field of Micellar(organic) Chemistry. Retired from Govt service in the year 2012. During the whole period of service and research published 12 papers which included six papers in Chemistry in international journals and six papers related to science and Forensic Science in Indian Science Congress.
